Plant proteins and future sectors in Normandy
Application deadline: 7 May 2022
Objectives
The Normandy Region has implemented a development plan for plant proteins intended for human consumption, involving all the agricultural players and companies concerned. Normandy’s positioning in the production of plant proteins must respond to new societal demands, to the food autonomy of farms and to changes in food consumption habits, by drawing on the region’s assets.
The projects must respond to one of the axes resulting from the reflection on the land and sea plant protein plan:
Axis 1 – Develop the structuring of protein sectors in Normandy in conjunction with downstream operators
Axis 2 – Support ambitious national or European projects on plant proteins and new resources
Axis 3 – Identify new sectors of the future for the Normandy region
Beneficiaries
Any project leader can apply to the AMI, in particular farmers or groups of farmers, associations in the agricultural sector (inter-professional organisations, producers’ organisations), agri-food companies of any size (VSEs/SMEs/ETIs/groups), research structures, legal entities or individuals wishing to develop a project in association with a research laboratory in Normandy
